Can aligners fix my teeth?

Very likely. Active Aligners correct a wide range of problems, from crooked or crowded teeth to gaps and problematic bites. Active Aligners are even a great option for straightening teeth that have moved since braces. Most adults and teens are good candidates, and your selected provider will advise you at your first consult.

Premium Clear Aligners, made in South Africa

Active Aligners give you the same key benefits as the big imported brands, at a more affordable price. The reason is simple, Active Aligners are manufactured locally, so you’re not paying for international shipping, licensing, or overseas labs.

1

Premium, medical-grade material.

Active Aligners are made from a premium, medical-grade, three-layer material, the quality you’d expect from a leading premium brand. Its soft, flexible core keeps the pressure on your teeth gentle and steady.

2

Engineered for precision.

Each aligner sits about 2mm over your gum line, so it grips every tooth firmly and moves it precisely as planned.

3

Planned carefully from day one.

Before you start, you’ll see a preview of your new smile. Every detail is planned from day one to get you there, and wearing your aligners as advised gives you the best chance of that result.

Treatment typically ranges from R27 000 for simpler cases to around R65 000 for more complex cases. Prices may vary by individual practice, so your selected provider will give you an exact quote once they’ve assessed your case.

How it works

1

Safe, because a dental professional is in charge.

Visit a provider near you.

Moving teeth is real dental treatment, so it should start with a proper check. Your provider examines your teeth, gums and bite in person, and treats anything that needs attention first. Then they take a 3D scan or impressions.

See your final result before you begin.

See your new smile before you start.

Your provider prescribes your treatment, and our treatment planners map out every movement. You see a digital preview of your final smile, and once your provider approves the plan, your aligners are made for you.

Results you can see within weeks.

Wear them and watch your smile change.

Wear your aligners about 22 hours a day and move to a new set every 1 to 2 weeks. Your provider sees you at least every 8 to 10 weeks to guide you all the way. Within a few weeks, you’ll start to see your smile change.

Your questions

Does it hurt?

You’ll feel a gentle pressure when you start each new aligner. That’s your aligners doing their job, and it normally settles as your mouth gets used to them.

Will people notice?

They’re clear and fit closely to your teeth, so they stay discreet at work, at school and in photos.

How long will it take?

Most treatments take around 6 months. Your provider will give you your own timeline at your consult.

Do I need to see a dental professional?

Yes, and that’s what keeps your treatment safe. Moving teeth is real dental treatment. Your provider checks your teeth, gums and bite in person before you start, plans how your bite will work, and sees you throughout treatment, so anything that needs attention is picked up early.

How much does it cost?

Treatment typically ranges from R27 000 for simpler cases to around R65 000 for more complex cases. Your provider will give you an exact quote once they’ve assessed your teeth.
